4/2: Picked up several pieces of trash. Watched a fox along the creek bank. Not many people out

4/12: Paddled up Ridout Cr. One piece of plastic milk jug.

4/22: Paddled to Minnow Cr. No plastic this day. One white fender was too far up the bank to retrieve. Lots of ospreys around.

Lux work day 10 Removed the main and jib. Worked on the new water heater connections. Replaced flexible piping that was leaking.

11/8 Paddled into the cove. Picked up a 2x8, putting it on the bulkhead. Then paddled down Whitehall Cr. There are a lot of leaves in the water and a surprising number of 2x6 boards and big logs. Picked up some plastic and a West Marine cushion. Stopped to talk with a neighbor.

10/22 Lux to West River Sunny, 70f, W@3-5 Motored to the West River - not enough wind to sail. Anchored off Pirates Cove. Cool overnight.

10/23 Lux West River to Selby Bay, Partly cloudy, 70f, S@2 Cool overnight - cabin was 61F in the moring. We turned on the heater first thing. We were joined by two other couples from American's Boating Club of Annapolis.

10/24 Lux Selby Bay to Whitehall, Cloudy to sunny, 70f, S@8 Not much wind, so we motored home. Stopped along the way to pick up a mylar balloon. Set the jib and sailed to 2W at 2.5-4kn. The cockpit warmed up in the afternoon sun.

11/7 Lux to Back Creek Annapolis Landing to fill with Diesel Partly sunny, 55f, N@10-12 Motored both directions to get fuel.

10/7 Kayaking, Sunny, 75f, calm Paddled up Ridout Cr. One piece of plastc wrapper. Only one boat out. Boat traffic has definitely declined since Labor Day.

10/9 Lux work day 9 - Removed and cleaned windows and window coverings. Added snaps to bug screen and mounted it.

10/13 Kayaking, Cloudy, 75f, calm Paddled down Whitehall. PIcked up several pieces of plastic. A 12-in diameter log is semi-floating near R4.

10/14 Kayaking, Sunny, 76f, calm, Paddled up Ridout Cr. No plastic. Several people out on docks due to the nice evening.

10/15 Kayaking, Sunny, 80f, S@12, Padled up Whitehall past the marina. No plastic. One woman in a row boat with her dog and one jetski out.

10/1 Lux to Rock Creek Clear, 75f, NE@5 Light wind on the nose, so we motored to the Maryland Yacht Club.

10/2 Lux to Magothy River Sunny, 77f, SW@5-10 Light wind on the nose again, so we motored to the Magothy River, Eagle Cove.

10/3 Lux to Reed Cr off Chester River, Sunny, 80f, S@8 Sailed on Tiphys to work with their new spinnaker. It needs a sock.

10/4 Lux home Sunny, 80f, S@5-12 Nice stay overnight in Reed Cr. Motored down the Chester River, set sails to Love Pt, then motor sailed and motored to Whitehall.

9/21 Mostly cloudy, 75f, S@10 Paddled to Whitehall Bay. One osprey and several herons. High water due to harvest moon. One piece of plastic

9/24 Sunny, 75f, W@5 Paddled to Minnow Cr to deliver auction gift to BCYC. Found a bunch of small plastic. Several powerboats out, but everyone disappeared before I finished. Nice outing.

9/26 Sunny, 76f, W@5 Paddled down Whitehall Cr. Picked up several pieces of plastic. Jelly fish have left

9/27 Sunny, 75f, SW@5 Paddled up Ridout Cr. Only a couple of boats out. The season is winding down. Picked up a few small pieces of plastic.

9/28 Sunny, 80f, W@10-15 Paddled up Whitehall Cr beyond the marina. One piece of plastic. No ospreys, several herons.

9/29 Sunny, 76f, calm Paddled to Whitehall Bay. Collected plastic bags from low branches along Whitehall Bay shoreline. Picked up a piece of 2-inch synthetic megabraid line. Saw an eagle wading in the water along the shoreline.

9/17 Lux to Rhode River Cloudy to partly sunny, 74f, NE@5-10 Weekend outing. Set the jib just south of 2W. Making only 2-3kn, but it's relaxing. The wind filled in as we approached Thomas Pt.

9/18 Lux Rhode River to Leeds Cr Cloudy to sunny, 80f, light wind Motored the whole way. Lumpy due to vessel wakes. Took the electric dinghy for a run around Leeds Cr. shoreline.

9/19 Lux Leeds Cr to home Sunny, 80f, N@12 Nice MV in Leeds cr - an "Alaskan", also known as "Grand Alaskan". Sailed with main and jib. Several tacks on the way north, 13-15kn AWS at 40 AWA.

9/14 Clear, 85f, S@5 Paddled down Whitehall. Found several pieces of plastic along the shoreline, including part of a collapsable crate.

9/10 Lux to Shaw Bay Clear, 75f, NW@12-18 We started in 10-12 and the wind freshened so we sailed under main and jib. Experimented with rolling up the stack pack bag.

9/11 Lux at Shaw Bay concert Sunny, 76f, light wind, building to 10-12 Rafted up with four other boats for the Wye River concert.

9/12 Lux to home, Sunny, 75f, S@10-15 Windward sail. Was able to do 30-40 AWA at > 6kn.
