Everything is installed and it's time to leave the dock and check it out. We took Lux down the creek to Whitehall Bay and ran calibration circles. There wasn't enough wind to calibrate the wind instrument. The tide is really high today.

Work day 2
Finished the cutouts for the new and relocated instruments. Polished the gelcoat. Removed a lot of old Seatalk wiring. Installed the autopilot control unit.
Work day 3
Removed the old ST40 depth sounder display and cut out for the new i70s display. Extended the wiring as needed. Installed the SeaTalk-NG backbone. Much cleaner installation than the old SeaTalk.
Work day 1
Removed old helm electronics, laid out the modifications to the fiberglass using blue tape, and began cutting. Determined where to locate the new Raymarine EV-1 sensor.
Sunny, 63F, SE@5 Paddled half way up Ridout Cr. Two ospreys (the birds) are back. No other boats out nor anyone along the shore or on docks. Nice early spring day.
Cloudy, 50F, calm Paddled down the creek and found several pieces of plastic and a black fender. One powerboat out. Heard and eagle calling but never saw it.
Sunny, clouds coming in, 45f, calm.
Found a lot of plastic bits, a piece of synthetic rope and a nearly new (no growth) mooring bouy. Saw a bald eagle in flight up the creek. Another kayaker out today.

Paddled up to Whitehall Marina. Picked up a lot of plastic trash and balloon ribbons. One blue heron.

Picked up numerous pieces of plastic from the shoreline. Two powerboats were out.
1/17: Cloud, 44f, wind west @ 5
Red fox along the shoreline and several buffleheads.
No plastic this trip.
