Took a quick look on Red Baron to help Dion out with deciding how to reconfigure some deck hardware.

Went out on Rascal to enjoy the unusually warm November weather. Sailed down to the key bridge to check out the test pilings for the new bridge before coming back.
Return trip from Harbor Cup was the complete opposite of the race itself. Directly upwind in 20+ kts. Got some good helm time in the challenging conditions despite the the tiller extension breaking again.
Little bit late to the start but picked a strong course out further from shore on a nearly all downwind race. Briefly dropped the spin as we were rounding Craighill light but the wind shifted and we were able to put it back up shortly after. Rode a good course up the Patapsco and had to do some quick thinking when a gybe caused the spin pole to jump out of its track. Got it put back together quickly and held a consistent course to the finish. Thanks to SpinSheet for the great pictures.
Last race of the season. Had a close call at the start with a leeward boat then set off into the first upwind leg, got port tacked by another boat close to the windward mark but were able to recover and round successfully. Two fast gybes and a douse got us around the second mark and we went into another lap. Disagreement and disorganization between the crew led to some chaos for the remainder of the race. Enjoyed a great sunset as we were finishing up. Thanks Lynn for the pictures.
We were the scratch boat for a pursuit start. Got across the line quickly, had two good reaching legs and a fast downwind reach to take the bullet ahead of everyone. Clean racing from everyone aboard and felt good to win. They told us at the party we "own the river".
Light wind day, got fouled off the start but were able to recover and put up a good showing. Drifted up to the first mark where as RC shortened there to end the race.
Strong start into a good upwind leg. Wind turned off halfway through the downwind so RC shortened course to one lap. Had a couple hiccups along the way but finished strong.
Little bit slow at the start into a strong reach out around Fort Carroll and back. Missed the center span on the bridge and were protested and likely disqualified from the race but decided to go for the finish anyway. Condiitons lightened up near the line and we crawled across.
Pursuit race for a little variety. We were a little short on crew so we raced non-spin. Had good upwind legs and steady downwind ones. Beat a couple boats that had spin issues and mostly missed the rain.
