Serviced winches and put on two coats of bottom paint
Century Club: Michael Nepini
Tried to go out for a sail ended up spending the evening trying to get the motor working
More work on sin - scrubbed waxed and buffed the whoke boat and prepped some spots on the bottom for paint. Getting closet to splash day.
Got out on Red Baron to test out the new spin and get in some end for end practice. Went through some sets gybes and douses before the wind died out and had a leisurely sail back to the dock
Took advantage of the warm weather to get out on the water for a but. Paddled all the way up Nabbs creek and back
Spent the afternoon Sunday helping Mike with some winter projects on Sin. Talked through where to add some additional hardware, installed a new electric bilge pump, and mostly rebuilt the manual one. Final reassembly got put on hold by a rusty hose clamp but we'll get it next time.
Out on Rascal for a weekend cruise. Weather was a little colder than forecasted but still good to get out. Heavy winds let us do over 3kts downwind with no sails up and we cruised around for a bit under partial jib.
Out on Kevin and Paige's new Beneteau 36.7 "Fat Molly". Strong start and good upwind legs but lost some time on the reaches and downwind to boats with more headsail up. Overall a good smooth first race on the new boat.
Quick sail on Rascal to enjoy the nice weather sailed about halfway to the bridge before turning back. Not a bad way to end February.
Quick COLD sail on the BR to enjoy the sun. Went up and around the bridge and back around to the island.
