We attempted to catch a rockfish on a beautiful November day. Sadly, no fish.

Saturday we drifted out but didn't get in any racing. The forecast for Sunday was also bleak but the RC did a great job waiting for the breeze and we got in five races. We had tight racing in the ILCA 6 fleet and I edged out on top narrowly ahead of the amazing sailors Kim Couranz and Pam Corwin. What a fun day to celebrate 100!!
thanks to Ted Morgan for the amazing photos!!
We had our last cruise of the season on Terrapin. The bay was too choppy to cross so we headed up the Pax River and anchored on St. Leonard Creek. What a beautiful spot! Sunday we were back in the marina taking our last dinghy ride before we packed her up the season. So sad!
We took an afternoon ride on the Key West to enjoy the fall air and check out the Sailboat Show!

I helped Ellie by crewing on Luna Sea for a trip to the fuel dock. It was a gorgeous afternoon for a Spa Creek cruise. We caught some glimpses of the sailboat show build up.
Our annual trip to Fishing Bay Yacht Club for the ILCA Chesapeake Masters regatta was a blast. The winds were light but the RC did a fantastic job at getting in races. Of course the dinner was amazing as always. Alrealy looking forward to next year!
Friday I attended an awesome clinic coached by good medalist Anna Tunnicliffe Tobias. Saturday we raced in light and lumpy conditions, four races. Sunday we tried but the breeze just did not fill in.
After some research and part/tool searching we got our hands on what we needed to fix the Suzuki and get back on the water. We took a boat ride to Galesville and had lunch at and a crush at Stan and Joe's Riverside. It was a nice day for a powerboat ride.
