We kicked off summer with a Friday evening cocktail cruise around Annapolis and fueled up for the weekend. Saturday we made an attempt to catch a rockfish at the bay bridge, and stopped by Kentmorr for a drink and swim at Dirty Dave's Tiki bar. Sunday we had a grand adventure heading to St. Michaels for lunch at the Crab Claw. We headed south after lunch to discover Lowe's Wharf was closed. But we cruised through the Knapp's Narrows for run and headed home.

We started motoring and trolling for rockfish. No fish were found but the wind did come up and we had a pleasant sail.
Saturday's racing of ILCA spring series was cancelled due to lack of wind. So we took Key West to the sandbar and trolled under the bay bridge for the elucive rockfish. Sunday was light and drizzly but we got two races in.
We had a marina staycation weekend to bring in the month of June. Saturday we blew up the dinghy and took a cruise to the Tiki Bar. Sunday we had a great day sail.
We spent Saturday of Memorial Day weekend in Annapolis working on our ILCAs and got out for a short Key West ride in the evening. On Sunday we took our niece, nephew and Jeff's sister for an Annapolis boat tour and dinner/ drinks at Dirty Dave's at Kentmorr. Hopefully one of many Sunday Fundays on the bay!
We took my parents out on the boat to watch the Blue Angels practice on Tuesday. Pleasant temps, light breeze and partly sunny made for great viewing! Weds forecast for rain may keep the crowds away but if they are here, we will be there!
We got a short boat ride on the Key West on Friday before the big storms rolled in. Stopped by SSA to check on my new ILCA!
I signed up to do race committee duty for J/World Thursday night racing series. No racing on May 15 due to lack of wind, but it was a nice evening to be on the water.
We also had no racing on 5/22, but I showed up to the club ready to go out in my foul weather gear. So it counts!
Thursday 6/5 we ran three breezy races and caught a pretty sunset
We finally made it to Solomons and started getting our girl, Terrapin going for the 2025 season. After some washing and tune up we made it out for a shakedown motor on Saturday and first sail of the season on Sunday.
We launched the Key West for the season on Friday evening and took fun boat ride circumnavigating Kent Island on Saturday.
