We finally made it to Solomons and started getting our girl, Terrapin going for the 2025 season. After some washing and tune up we made it out for a shakedown motor on Saturday and first sail of the season on Sunday.

We visited our friends in Fernandina Beach, FL for our southern road trip vacation. They gave us a cool tour of Cumberland Island, GA on board their pontoon powerboat, the Pau Hana. It is the ultimate Tiki bar vessel. Looking forward to our next visit to this special place!

With snow in the forecast we planned to haul the Key West on Saturday, Jan 4th. When we delivered the trailer we did discovered we had to postpone until the following day. But Saturday was a good faith intention, tides did not cooperate.
Jeff and I took an afternoon harbor cruise on the Key West to complete my 100 days. It was a sunny but windy ride but it was great to see all the people downtown enjoying the holidays. Yay! 100 days in 2024.
