My wife recently bought a new paddleboard, a racing one and tonight she wanted to finally try it out. I went out in the kayak to watch. She did great, it is much much faster then her inflatable one. I gave it an attempt, and surprised myself by actually standing up on it, but i'll need alot of practice.

Went out for the wed night race, it's been a few weeks since some were cancelled for weather and some we did not have enough crew. We were rocking and rolling tonight, very strong winds and we had some complications with the boat. A few things broke on us, but it was still a great night out.

Joined a couple of people from the wed night crew and thier families for a quick outing. We just cruised with the headsail up for a little bit and then stopped and anchored for lunch and swimming. We all had a great day.

We took a very short cruise today because my 7 year old niece was visiting from out of town. She did not want to go fast, so it was a 5 mph ride the entire time. Great weather and she enjoyed the trip.

Just went solo for a little while today, had a nice day for it and didn't want to miss it. Sat near Essex Sky Park for awhile.

I had a short time to kill before I went to work, so I did a quick paddle. The water was so calm and no one else was around.

We had another beautiful night on the Patapsco. We had really nice winds and a good start to the race. I even got to see a trimaran out there in the group so that was pretty cool. A great night was had by all !

Today I took one more day off from work to take my friend and his son out for the day. We anchored at Hart Miller Island, used my grill for the first time and had plenty of time for swimming. We then ventured to Middle River to watch some planes and then back to the island for more swimming. It was a crazy hot day, but it did not fell bad at all where we were, plus the swimming helped. The water all around was so calm and peaceful today.

Ventured out to the end of our cove today to watch the air show hosted by a local restaurant holding a power boat race. We have been watching it from our pier all weekend but wanted to get a close look. The airshow is awesome, as it was last year. Brian Correll airshows was the pilot doing the stunts.
