Tonight was very windy and very choppy water. This was the strongest wind I have ever been in. I was nervous at first, but the crew is so experienced and so great , my fears ended quickly and I really enjoyed it. We were going about 10 knots. It was a great expereice and I'm learning alot and getting more comfortable.

Today was the first Kayak outing for the year. My wife was on her paddleboard and I was alongside in my Kayak. A short paddle, but still refreshing.

This was my second wednesday night race this season. Last week, it was cancelled due to weather and I was out of town anyway and would have missed it. Tonight was extremely light air, and most of the time we were just drifting. It was still fun and I got to learn more this week, at a much slower pace since we really were not moving. Still a beautiful night !

This is my first year helping out on a racing team, and tonight was the first sail. It has been a blast so far and I love every minute of it. The crew is so awesome and I'm really learning a lot. My sailing skills are very rusty but they are teaching me well. My only sailboat was a very simple 24' that I could singlehand sail. The boat we race is so much more complex with parts I never had on mine.
