Haven’t seen this wildflower before.
Spent the last couple of days kayaking around our house. We love spending time on Abel Reservoir and Smith Lake. Enjoyed so much and chilled, couldn’t muster enough strength to go online.

Beautiful day on our kayaks.
Beautiful sunny day and finally an opportunity to get Zen and Chill back on local waters. Today’s trip was to our go to, Abel Reservoir. Just beautiful with smoke and dogwoods blooming. Tons of violets and other wood wild flowers. Saw our first blooming mountain laurel. Glorious day on the water!

Back in our happy place
We had a wonderful day on the water. Before you knew it, it was time to put her snuggly back in her slip, readjusting lines, etc.
Also got some work done on her and made arrangements at the marina for a short haul.

Melanna squeezed into her new slip at Spring Cove Marina.
Side trip to Calvert Marine Museum’s Otter Mania to celebrate Barb’s birthday.
Saturday was moving day for Melanna. Our lease was coming to an end and this was a good weather day for moving. We left Zahniser’s and motored over to Melanna’s new home at Spring Cove Marina. We were welcomed by the marina manager Will and in a brief time, we were already making new friends. Life is good!
Finished day by attending Otter Mania at Calvert Marine Museum to celebrate Barb’ Birthday.
